I took my whole family here the day after Christmas, and we were so excited to try somewhere new!
My little sister has a bunch of dietary restrictions and the team was SO patient and cognizant of keeping her safe. The coffees, drinks and teas were definitely the highlight, which is to be expected from a coffee shop.
The food was good, but definitely not the highlight as much as the drinks and the atmosphere. It’s a wonderful place to hang out and grab a bite, and if you have dietary restrictions they are definitely the ones to visit!
I don’t dislike this place, really wanted to love it. The location is so cool, tucked away from busy elm, right on the river, and the indoor atmosphere has a Whole Foods, modern industrial vibe. Our food was fine. My boyfriend’s burrito was pretty small and the tortilla wasn’t toasted. My sandwich was a good breakfast sandwich, really no complaints there... once I got it. The biggest discrepancy we had was my boyfriend’s food came out ten to fifteen minutes before mine was brought to the table. So he sat there and waited with his food in front of him until mine was brought to the table. The staff was apologetic and things happen but not the best first impression.
Great spot for a delicious breakfast. Their food was very well seasoned and flavors well paired. I'd recommend the WWC bowl to anyone who's hungry as I was! Great value and flavor! This is a counter order type spot with plenty of places to sit.
Nice little cafe. Order at the counter. Limited sweets - cookies, PB pie, sad looking Danish. I don't like that breakfast ends at 11 but the atmosphere is really nice and the food was hot and good. Restrooms are clean and accessible.
This is our 4th time coming to Waterworks Cafe. Every single time we come, we are so pleased! The hot coffee is great! Flavored syrup selection is vast! Iced coffee and lattes are also so good! This time we ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich, a croissant breakfast sandwich and the California breakfast sandwich. All the meals were delicious! Can't wait to come back again!
Used to really enjoy eating here but over the past few weeks the quality of their food has decreased drastically. I have been a loyal customer for months spending $13+ for lunch every time but I refuse to spend any more of my money here as the quality is just not there. The fries taste like they’re from McDonalds (they used to be fresh and seasoned) and the produce is just gross. The avocado used on my club was brown, I would’ve rather it be left off because it ruined the sandwich. I emailed with my concerns, including pictures and I got no response. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere!
Picture of brown avocado and hair on my sandwich included.
Edit 11/16 - No response from the owner, such a joke. Goes to show how they care.
Our daughter is at a science camp at UNH so we walked over here. Great atmosphere (although a little noisy) and the food is incredible. I actually feel healthier after eating here! We had the chilled banana bowl, an avocado toast, and the burrata toast with two excellent coffees. All were so good! I wish we lived closer to come more often.
My mom and dad took my daughter and I out for breakfast for my birthday. I've been looking to try different places instead of going to the same old same old and this place had a quirky name and a varied menu. As you can see from the outdoor …
